About

AMA is a nonprofit association dedicated to improving and providing excellent healthcare to the Armenian community in Great Britain. Funded 40 years ago, we are made up of physicians, dentists, pharmacists, nurses and allied healthcare professionals including medico-legal professionals and health economists. AMA also provides humanitarian and medical education in Armenia.

Activities

Our primary activity is a programme of lectures including the annual Hagopian memorial lecture. These lectures usually take place at various Armenian community venues and the medical society venue in London. We also arrange social gatherings for networking including visits to local places of interest. We join BALA (Britain Armenian Law Association) for annual mentoring event of students.
